Process

The point at which web site construction becomes visible on the internet skyline is perhaps the most exciting time of the web design process for the client. Like any highrise, the web site architecture and engineering are completed in measured stages. We proceed on web site development through the following phases:

1. Needs Assessment
The purpose of this phase is to determine the company goals which the website serves, to whom it is targeted, how and to what extent it will interact with the audience. Preliminary research determine the competition, market position, target audience and lines of business. The marketing plan and challenges are reviewed. The scope of the project is then determined to meet those goals. Website scope, architecture and budget are intertwined, and refined at this stage. The timetable for completion is drawn up.

2. Design & Implementation
Website design alternatives are explored. Special emphasis is placed on navigation and usability.Visual elements are designed, refined, and then optimized. Text is written, edited and finalized. Site programing is written, debugged and refined.

3. Installation
The website is installed on the servers of the host and reviewed with client.

4. Follow-up
Registration with the major search engines is done. The log file is analyzed for use volume and patterns. Site monitoring and maintenance are done as needed.

Summary
Delivery on time and within budget are important to you and us. Elegance in web design need not cost more.
